This 2003 Tim Burton fantasy features a set of conjoined twins, Ping and Jing, who are played by real-life identical twin sisters, Ada and Arlene Tai. The Tai twins have also appeared together in Rush Hour, Ed Wood, Rock Paper Scissors and Shui Hen. | Doppelte Lottchen, Das | (1950) The original German film based on the popular children's book of the same title (by Erich Kästner) in which girls meet at a summer camp without knowing they are twins who were separated at birth. They learn of their bond and then plot to reunite their divorced parents. Remade several times, most famously in the U.S. as The Parent Trap. It was also remade in Germany in 1993 with the title 'Charlie and Louise'. Luke and Leia are introduced in the original Star Wars in 1977 while their parents first show up in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 1999.
